Last summer when finishing up my Cinelli build, I spent a little time with Tori Bortman from Gracie’s Wrench to help me properly dial in my derailleurs and cables. Not only did I learn HOW to do the things I was after, I learned much of the WHY behind the things I was doing. Turned out my frame was a little tweaked, so we brought the hanger back into line…I would have never known that on my own. Not only that, but every wrench that was turned, was turned by me. I didn’t learn by watching, but by doing. If you want to learn more about how your bike works, or how to maintain it, or just about any other form of bicycle consulting…I can recommend Gracie’s Wrench wholeheartedly.
With that in mind, it was great to see Tori getting some props in the Oregonian this weekend, and from Heidi on her blog, since she wrote the fantastic article. Two great business ladies in Oregon who are doing what they love!
