There will be a special community briefing on Thursday, February 12, regarding the Minto Island Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge at the Salem Public Library in the Anderson Room. The briefing will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm.

A 350 foot bridge is being proposed for pedestrians and bicyclists that will connect users to the existing trail systems Downtown, in Riverfront Park, and on Minto-Brown Island. Stop in to give your take on the design options. More information can be had at cityofsalem.net/Departments/UrbanDevelopment.

Vikkye, I sent you an email. Debbie Boe is teaching tghiont (Tuesday) at 7pm. I myself will not be there this evening as I’m back to derby tghiont. The schedule is Monday 7:45am, Tuesday 7pm and Friday 8am. We plan to continue practicing out there until the weather gets too yucky.Hopefully I’ll see you out there another time!

The failure of this case shows what a hoax “terrorism” is. I don’t know much about the “terrorism” Suppression Act, and I am cnleaitry NOT a lawyer, but this law looks like a load of crap. Who is surprised that the case is a flop? The courts should be forced to explain what “terrorism” is. Do they mean conspiracy to murder, and getting weapons? If it’s that simple, the prosecutors should just charge the “Urewera 18” with the charges I just mentioned. Instead, the courts bring up this fancy-ass “terrorist” nonsense, which does nothing to advance the prosecution. Furthermore, the word “terrorist” is emotionally and politically charged. I honestly have no idea why we use it in this country.I hope members of the legal “profession” learn from their mistakes. It must be pretty embarrassing to make all these laws about “terror”, only for the judges to trip over on their own big vocabulary. The “Urewera 18” were already breaking firearms laws, so there’s no need to also charge them with “terrorism” (especially if you can’t define or justify what “terrorism” even is!)

OOPS! didn't realize that you moderate and there might be more "Anonymous's" above my own comment! :DBut I love how Anonymous who phrases "Lsdies and Gentlemen" commented…I only wished they left a link to their blog if they have one.Definitely would be a blog I would enjoy reading!
